Job Summary:
|
The Physical Therapy Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor (12MO). The successful candidate will:
- Serve as core faculty in the BS/DPT Program.
- Teach courses in neuromuscular PT track and other required curricula.
- Engage in research and its dissemination.
- Participate in faculty meetings, program governance, curriculum review, student recruitment, selection and advisement, and mentorship of student capstone projects.
- Render professional service to the program, university, community, and profession.

Preferred Qualifications:
|
- Applicants who are enrolled in a PhD, EdD or DSc program or who can commence work on a PhD, EdD or DSc upon hire, will be considered.
- NSC or advanced degree in motor control/motor learning preferred.
